KARIN PERRIN ART

Born in Romania which I left as a small child, I was educated in England, Germany and the US. I trained at the New York School of Interior Design and had a long career in the UK, designing homes and furniture. 

 

Always enthralled by art in all its forms and in particular by painting, in past years I have been depicting memories of worldwide travels and walks, many in temperate rain forests. My canvases dwell on our connection to the environment and the beauty and transience of our world. Mostly executed in oils, views often depict a path taken or a distant gleam followed. My works evolve over time, layers and marks are added to evoke mood and light and to hint at the surprising discovery that may be made in a few more steps.

 

Many of my paintings are also available as fine art prints, cards, or accessories. I also accept commissions.
